Our Artists

We’re proud to work with a growing community of talented musicians who choose our instruments as part of their creative journey.

Our artists are performers, songwriters, teachers, and touring musicians who value great tone, reliable build quality, and instruments that inspire confidence both on and off the stage. From intimate acoustic sets and open-mic nights to studio sessions and live performances, these players put our guitars through real-world use — and trust them to deliver every time.

This page showcases the artists who play our instruments by choice, not obligation. Each brings their own sound, style, and story, proving that great music isn’t about labels — it’s about connection, creativity, and the tools that help bring ideas to life.

We’re always excited to support musicians who are passionate about what they do and proud to be part of a community built around music, craft, and expression.

Kent Nishimura - Shima Enaga

The Natasha KN-SE (Kent Nishimura - Shima Enaga) is a guitar model designed by Kent Nishimura in collaboration with Natasha Guitars. The idea originated in late 2022 when Kent was impressed by a Natasha Rainleaf. Having acquired other Natasha instruments, he developed trust in the company's craftsmanship.

In 2023, Kent formed a close relationship with Natasha's team, particularly with Aaron Zhao and Bob Ma. The design process started after NAMM Show and Soundmesse Osaka in April and May, respectively.

The guitar's design focuses on simplicity and high quality. Kent opted not to include his name on the guitar's design, allowing players worldwide to enjoy it without any association. Bubinga wood, with its beautiful patterns, was chosen for the back and sides, ensuring a powerful low-midrange bass tone. European Spruce as the top wood provides strong mid to high range capabilities. The woods were meticulously selected during numerous trips to suppliers.

The fretboard inlay features the Shima Enaga, a Japanese bird, crafted with abalone seashell, portraying an eastern winter theme. The winter theme was enhanced by upgrading the European Spruce into a bear claw pattern. The first guitar was completed in September 2023 and presented to Kent in Osaka. His reaction was described as "utter awe and pleasant surprise," as the guitar sounded full and perfect on the first try. Kent made it his go-to guitar for all occasions.

As an accomplished fingerstyle player, Kent envisions sharing the joy of playing this guitar with others. Natasha Guitars trusts Kent's judgment and will continue crafting these guitars with care, aiming to bring the joy of music to everyone's homes.
